Please excuse the bad quality of this photo. || I was talking to someone earlier, and have been looking into head covering more recently, in particular Christian head covering. There are stereotypes that accompany it, most commonly that it’s a sign of or it is oppressive/oppressing. Head covering isn’t always oppressive - it can be, but it isn’t always. It can very much be a choice, especially in Christian women, from what I have found. How is this different than if I had a headband in? Why are you free to wear a short skirt but I am not free to wear a long skirt without being pestered and questioned? If you are free to reveal, I should be free to cover. || Now obviously I don’t cover, but I do respect those that do, and I am on the fence. I honestly think this looks beautiful, and maybe better than when my hair was uncovered. I don’t see myself covering full time in the near future, if at all, but I may start doing it sometimes.
